Insights from the PPP Loan Forgiveness Application

Practice Management
Few areas of late have generated as much interest, questions, and confusion as the applications of the Paycheck Protection Program, or PPP.

The meanings and implications of the PPP continue to undergo refinement and clarification. In fact, there are 15 regulations issued by SBA so far, and about 18 versions of the Treasury FAQs. As recently as June 5, President Trump signed a bill which makes major revisions to the PPP.

While this is something of a moving target, longtime ASPPA member Larry Starr, President of Qualified Plan Consultants, Inc., recently contributed to an article regarding those provisions, as well as a one-hour review of the provisions, and he has generously shared this information with our readers.

Note, of course, that this is an external contribution at a specific point in time. The content represents the opinions of the authors, and does not necessarily represent the opinion or position of ASPPA or the American Retirement Association.

The article is available here, and the one-hour review appears below.
