ASPPA Webcast: 403(b) and 457(b) plans - An Intro for 401(k) Administrators

Description: Designed as an introduction to 403(b) and 457(b) plans, this webcast will serve as an overview to compare the distinguishing features between these plan types and compare those features to 401(k) plans. Covered topics will include plan design and compliance aspects and operational considerations.

  1. Discover the key differences between 401(k), 403(b), and 457(b) plans
  2. Determine which types of organizations can sponsor each plan type, and the advantages and disadvantages of each
  3. Analyze plan design and compliance considerations for each plan type

About the Speaker: Ryan Marshall is a Senior Consultant with the Retirement Plan Design and Consulting Group at Lincoln Financial Group. He has 14 years of experience in the retirement plan industry working with various types of entities. Ryan assists clients with plan design, compliance, and operational questions/issues for many types of retirement plans (401(k), 403(b), 457(b), 457(f), and NQDC plans). He has been with Lincoln since December 2009. Ryan has a bachelor’s degree in Finance from Indiana University. He is also FINRA Series 6 licensed.
