About the Speaker:

Janice M. Wegesin is President of JMW Consulting, Inc. in Petoskey, Michigan. The firm specializes in compliance work associated with qualified retirement plans and welfare benefit arrangements. She has over 35 years of experience in the retirement plan industry, is a Certified Pension Consultant and an Enrolled Agent, enrolled to practice before the IRS, and is the author of the Form 5500 Preparer’s Manual (Aspen Publishers). Ms. Wegesin is a member of the American Society of Pension Professionals and Actuaries (ASPPA) and received the organization’s Educator’s Award in 1998 and its Harry T. Eidson Founder’s Award in 2006. She received NIPA's Lifetime Achievement Award in 2006. Ms. Wegesin frequently teaches seminars for pension professionals and accountants on many topics including Form 5500 preparation and maintains the website www.form5500help.com.
