Candidates sitting for the CPC Exam should hold a QPA and have the knowledge of materials covered in the CPC Modules. CPC examination results will be mailed to candidates approximately eight to ten (8-10) weeks after the examination date, after an expert review and grading. Exams are given twice a year at Prometric Testing Centers during the examination window.
Candidates who pass the examination will receive a 9, 8, or 7. Candidates who fail to achieve a passing score will receive a 6, 5, or 3. Typically, the minimum passing score has remained near the 70% mark. Please note, this passing mark can vary and is adjusted depending on the exam difficulty as ASPPA updates exam forms.
