Pinnacle Plan Design LLC, a national provider of qualified retirement plan design, administration and actuarial consulting services, has acquired Block Consulting Actuaries, Inc., a TPA and actuarial consulting firm in El Segundo, CA.
Block Consulting Actuaries, Inc. was founded in 1983 by Helen Block, MSPA. In 1986, Helen’s husband and fellow actuary Rick Block, FSEA, FCA, ASA, MAAA, joined the firm. The two worked side-by-side until Helen’s retirement in 2020.

Block and the entire Block Consulting Actuaries team will continue to serve their clients and key referral sources from their current office. With this acquisition, Pinnacle now has seven enrolled actuaries and 36 professionals on staff to design and administer customized 401(k)/profit sharing plans and DB plans for their clients.
