Where are you from/where do you live now?

Dallas/Georgia.

 

What was your first job in the field?

Coopers & Lybrand in Chicago.

 

Favorite actuarial moment?

Receiving my FSPA.

 

Volunteer activities through the years?

Writing up information for 401(a)(26).

 

Any advice you’d give to younger Frank?

Concentrate on helping people and all will be okay.

 

What has ACOPA meant to you?

ACOPA has meant many friends in the same field with the same goals. It has enabled a better understanding of the regulations and issues through the discussions with other practitioners.

 

What aspect of ACOPA’s influence helps you the most?

ACOPA been able to influence wording of various rules and regulations to better reflect the practical side of our work.

 

What’s your favorite music?

I listen to almost anything – which amazes my son’s friends. Concerts included Blood, Sweat and Tears, Neil Diamond, Shania Twain, Celine Dion and John Denver.

 

What are your plans (activity-wise) for retirement?

Travel in our RV by ourselves and with friends. Continue to be active with pickleball, swimming and running.
