Alliance Pension Consultants Acquires Reed-Ramsey

Alliance Pension Consultants, LLC has acquired Reed-Ramsey, Inc., in a move Alliance Principal Jeff Van Wagner hails as an opportunity to enhance actuarial and administrative services.

Alliance Pension Consultants, a retirement plan record keeping, administration and consulting firm that provides comprehensive services in developing and maintaining qualified retirement plans, was founded in 1979. Reed-Ramsey, Inc., founded in 1940, furnishes benefit and human resources consulting and insurance programs to corporations.

Reed-Ramsey President Robert Reed and his team of administrators will be joining the Alliance staff. Jeff Feld, a Principal at Alliance, said in a press release that “Rob and his staff have the same ‘client-first’ mentality that is such an important component of the Alliance culture.”

Jeff Van Wagner, also a Principal at Alliance, said, “both firms have a long history of consultative and creative solutions for retirement plans, and we are excited to pool together our collective resources and expertise. This combination provides a fantastic opportunity to greatly enhance the actuarial and administrative offerings of Reed-Ramsey and Alliance supported by a deeper and stronger team.”
