Continuing Education Changes for RECORDED Webcast Attendees

Once registered, attendees will receive a confirmation letter directing them to the “Access Recorded Webcasts” page with a link to the WebEx OnDemand Center. Each registered viewer will be tracked when they log in with their name and email address. The webcast link will expire once the attendee has satisfied the CE requirement. CE credits will be applied to their record on a periodic basis and a certificate of attendance will be available on each attendee's My ASPPA page.

ABOUT THE SPEAKERS

Adam C. Pozek, QPA, QKA, QPFC

Adam is a partner and consultant at DWC ERISA Consultants, LLC.  He works with business owners, executives and their other professional advisors on issues related to qualified retirement plans.  His specialties include:

  • Customized plan design
  • Assessment of benefit programs in the context of mergers and acquisitions
  • Voluntary correction of plan errors via the IRS and DOL correction programs
  • Representation of clients in IRS and DOL examinations
  • Consultation with plan fiduciaries to assist in establishment and documentation of prudent processes

Adam is actively involved with the American Society of Pension Professionals and Actuaries ("ASPPA") where he serves on the Executive Committee, Board of Directors and the Government Affairs Committee.  He is a past-president of the ASPPA Benefits Councils of Atlanta and New England.  Adam also serves as vice-chair of the IRS Advisory Committee on Tax-Exempt and Government Entities ("ACT").

As a nationally recognized author and lecturer, Adam has been published in the Journal of Financial Services Professionals, The Wealth Channel, 403(b) Advisor and Plan Consultant.  He is co-editor of and a regular contributor to the Journal of Pension Benefits and is co-founder of Pension Pundits, LLC.  Adam has spoken on retirement plan topics for a variety of organizations, provided testimony to the ERISA Advisory Council and co-authored several comment letters and proposals to the Treasury Department and Congress.

Adam holds the professional credentials of Qualified 401(k) Administrator (QKA), Qualified Pension Administrator (QPA) and Qualified Plan Financial Consultant (QPFC) from ASPPA as well as Registered Health Underwriter (RHU) and Registered Employee Benefits Consultant (REBC) from the American College.  He is also enrolled to practice before the IRS as an Enrolled Retirement Plan Agent (ERPA).

Evan M. Rapp, ERPA, QPA, QKA

Evan, Managing Partner, joined RPG Consultants in 2001. Evan handles the operations management of the firm including the overall training and supervision of the administration and recordkeeping staff and provides advanced consulting to clients. Evan is responsible for developing his Firm's IT infrastructure, the implementation of their in-house recordkeeping and FSA systems, and creating partnerships with other daily recordkeeping providers.

Prior to joining RPG, Evan's background and areas of responsibilities have included financial, personnel and technology management. Evan served as a Data Administrator at Einstein Medical Center and a Sr. Administration Manager at Cornell Medical Center.

Evan earned a Bachelor’s degree from Queens College and a Masters of Public Administration degree from New York University. He is an accredited member of the American Society of Pension Professionals & Actuaries (ASPPA) and holds the Qualified 401(k) Administrator (QKA) and Qualified Pension Administrator (QPA) designations. He currently volunteers as a Vice-Chairman of ASPPA’s Education & Examination (E&E) Committee. Evan is also an Enrolled Retirement Plan Agent (ERPA) authorized to represent clients before the IRS.

Evan lives on Long Island, NY with his wife and three sons and, in 2012, marked his 20th anniversary serving his community as a volunteer EMT. Evan's wife complains about his obsession with technology but realizes that there are worse habits he could have.
