The Pension Benefit Guaranty Corporation (PBGC) has released the first installment of its 2015 Data Book.
The 2015 Pension Data Book includes updated figures for summary and claims tables relevant to single-employer pension plans. The PBGC has released such books and tables since 1996.
The book includes information for the period 1980-2016 on the net financial position of the PBGC’s single-employer program for the period 1980-2016 and the PBGC premium revenue, benefit payments and expenses.
Information about the single-employer program for the period 1975-2015 includes data on a variety of aspects of terminations, claims and trusteed plans.
The PBGC will be releasing updated data on guarantee payments and information on plans it covers.
