Fiduciary Training: Best Practices in Running and Advising an Investment Committee

NAPA Webcast

Speakers: Steff Chalk, CEO of Fiduciary Consulting and Governance Group, Inc. and Executive Director of The Retirement Advisor University (TRAU) & David N. Levine, Principal, Groom Law Group, Chartered

On December 10th at 2:00 PM ET, join top plan advisor Steve Dimitriou from Mayflower Advisors and leading ERISA attorney David Levine from Groom Law Group, Chartered, as they discuss best practices on training clients how to manage fiduciary liability and run an effective investment committee in a free webcast for all NAPA members. With greater scrutiny by the DOL and more litigation resulting in settlements and judgments against plan sponsors and providers including the recent International Paper case, it is critical that plan advisors understand how to protect and inform their plan sponsor committees. Similarly, many plans are looking for their advisors to formally train their committee members and fiduciaries to protect against liability as the DOL seems to be favoring and encouraging fiduciary education of investment committees.

Join in the discussion with Steve and David which is just one of the many benefits of NAPA membership– others can participate for $99.
