Speaker: Mary J. Giganti with Waldheger Coyne

Mary is a shareholder and Vice-President of Waldheger Coyne in Cleveland, Ohio. Her practice focuses on business and tax planning for closely-held businesses, specifically planning with qualified retirement plans (including Employee Stock Ownership Plans). Mary has authored numerous articles appearing in the 401(k) Advisor, and co-authored articles in the Journal of Pension Benefits and the Journal of Pension Planning and Compliance. She is a frequent speaker to a variety of professional organizations, including the Internal Revenue Service, ASPPA, the American Bar Association, the Ohio State Bar Association and various other State Societies of CPAs and the Ohio Employee Ownership Center (affiliated with Kent State University).  Mary is a credentialed APM of ASPPA, a member of Great Lakes TE/GE Council, the ESOP Association, the Ohio State Bar Association and the Cleveland Metropolitan Bar Association. She received her law degree from Cleveland-Marshall College of Law and her undergraduate degree from Trinity University in San Antonio, Texas.
