Karbon Inaugurated as ACOPA’s 2017-2018 President

Bill Karbon, MSPA, CPC, QPA, will serve as President of the ASPPA College of Pension Actuaries (ACOPA) for the 2017-2018 year. He was inaugurated as President Oct. 23, at ACOPA’s annual actuarial luncheon at the ASPPA Annual Conference in National Harbor, MD.

Karbon succeeds ACOPA’s 2016-2017 President, Kurt F. Piper, FSPA. He the Executive Vice President and Director of Compliance at CBIZ Retirement Plan Services in Lawrenceville, NJ. An industry veteran with more than 30 years of experience, Karbon has been with the firm since 1995. He is a well-known speaker and author, and has been an active member of various ASPPA and ACOPA committees, including ASPPA’s Annual Conference and Professional Conduct Committees and ACOPA’s Advanced Actuarial Conference Committee. Karbon received ASPPA’s Educator’s Award in 2013.
