JBEA CE for ASPPA Webcasts>
Register for a webcast ASPPA has worked out an agreement with the Joint Board for the Enrollment of Actuaries (JBEA) on requirements that will allow Enrolled Actuaries, after the successful completion of a short five-question quiz, to receive credit for viewing an ASPPA webcast.
How to earn JBEA credit for ASPPA webcasts: 1. Register for a live or pre-recorded webcast. Webcast quizzes will expire three months from the original presentation date. 2. Listen and view the complete webcast. 3. Immediately following the webcast, registered participants will be provided with a link and instructions on how to register and take the online quiz. There is no additional charge for taking the quiz, however, you will be prompted to go through a check-out basket procedure to access the quiz. Once you have processed the registration, a link will appear in the left column, ‘Take Exam or CE Quiz’. Click on it and you should see your quiz listed there. One quiz per registrant fee. Answer four of five questions correctly to successfully pass the quiz. Registrants may only take the quiz once. [see tutorial on this process] 4. Take the webcast quiz within three months of the original presentation date. The quiz will expire and will not be accessible after this noted time period. 5. Print and retain the online participation certificate provided upon successful completion of the quiz. This certificate must be retained by the webcast registrant and provided to the JBEA at the end of appropriate JBEA CE cycle. There will be a $10 charge for re-issuing of webcast certificates. ASPPA provides webcasts on time-sensitive subjects such as pension reform or Form 5500 procedures. Many "timeless" topics are also offered. Since there is no fixed schedule of webcasts, please refer to the posted schedules. Webcast events are announced on this site and via e-mail to interested members. |
