Don’t go it alone…ASPPA Webinars are a great way to study with the help of a qualified instructor and your peers. Benefits to you:
ASPPA is offering six webinar courses this Fall to help candidates prepare for the Fall 2006 DC-1, DC-2, DC-3, DB, PFC-1 and PFC-2 examinations. Participants will interact with the instructor via a simultaneous conference call and web-based live presentation of the material. Space is limited so please register early. Read testimonials from previous Webinar participants. Each Webinar course is a series of online classes that allows candidates to interact with an instructor via simultaneous conference call and web-based live presentation of the materials. You will be able to ask the instructor questions and get live real time answers. The instructor will be able to conduct polls and ask you questions as well. You will receive course materials by e-mail prior to the webinar each week and will be able to view the instructor's Power Point slides during the webinar. Attendees will be asked to provide feedback and survey responses about the format and content of each webinar to assist ASPPA in continuing to develop educational programs to help candidates prepare for examinations. All you need is a phone, Internet access and Internet Explorer Web-browser. These types of online courses have a much higher impact than simply reading material on the web. Live telephone/web seminars offer exceptional convenience and are very cost-effective. The computer becomes your classroom. Our Webinar software is not compatible with most Macintosh operating systems. Please visit http://cm.sonexis.net/systest/SystemTest.asp and click on “I’m a participant” to test your current system settings. Most users will need to temporarily disable pop-up blocking software, and download additional Active X controls (free of charge) to pass the systems test. We encourage all potential registrants for ASPPA Webinars to perform this systems test prior to registering to ensure that your computer system will comply with our Webinar software. Registrants will receive a confirmation e-mail with detailed information about accessing both the audio and Internet portions of the webinar. If you miss a webinar, powerpoint handouts will be available for download to registered attendees. Please note that confirmation will be sent to the registered attendee's e-mail address. No other notification will be sent. Participants can login to the system 15 minutes prior to the start time for the Webinar. Registration is limited to 20 participants per series. Registrants will receive a confirmation e-mail with detailed information about accessing both the audio and Internet portions of the webinar. All registration forms must be accompanied by payment, and must be received on or before the registration deadline for the Webinar series you wish to register for. The Webinar registration fee is non-refundable. Registration is NOT available for individual sessions. Registration is not available for individual sessions, and recordings cannot be provided for those who miss a session, so mark your calendars accordingly. Registration Fees: $285 for members; $299 for nonmembers After you register, you will receive an e-mail confirmation with details of the webinar. Please take the time to carefully read the information and download the Sonexis conference software that you will need for the webinar. Please Note: The statements and materials presented are solely the opinions of the speakers and do not represent the opinion or the position of ASPPA. ASPPA assumes no responsibility for the content of the statements and materials presented by speakers during ASPPA's Webinars. Need More Information? Questions? E-mail ASPPA Education Services at educasppa@asppa.org. Not convinced? Read what other ASPPA exam candidates are saying about their Webinar experience: “It helps to have the materials discussed in a group.” “…the Webinar helped explain things more clearly.” “I learn better through listening than reading. I figured this would be a good way to introduce myself to the material…” “It was nice to be able to interact with the speaker in this format.” The most valuable aspect of the Webinar was being able “to see what the instructor saw as the highlights of the book. That provides us with a second opinion on areas to focus on in addition to general reading.” |
