EA Review Classes
> Spring classes now open for online registration
Preparation RequirementClass participants are expected to have completed at least 150 hours of study time in preparation for the examination before attending the review class. Preparation coverage should include, but is not limited to, the materials listed on the EA-2B reading list prepared by the Joint Board for the Enrollment of Actuaries. Some of these materials may be purchased through the ASPPA Book Order Department using the Publications Order Form. Also available are EA-2B Study Notes prepared by the Society of Actuaries. The Society of Actuaries may be reached at (847) 706-3500. ASPPA offers these courses as an educational service for students who wish to sit for examinations which ASPPA cosponsors with the Society of Actuaries and the Joint Board for the Enrollment of Actuaries. In order to preserve the integrity of the examination process, measures are taken by ASPPA to prevent the course instructors from having any access to information which is not available to the general public. Accordingly, the students should understand that there is no advantage to participation in these courses by reason that they are offered by a cosponsor of the examinations. The InstructorThe ASPPA EA Review Classes are taught by David B. Farber, MSPA, EA, ASA. For more than 20 years, David has received excellent reviews for the EA preparatory and actuarial primer classes he teaches.
