Certified Pension Consultant

The Certified Pension Consultant (CPC) credential is designed for benefits professionals working in plan administration, pension actuarial administration, insurance, and financial planning. CPCs work with employers in the formulation, implementation, administration, and maintenance of qualified retirement plans and other employee benefits programs.

Applicants should have three years of retirement plan consulting experience to apply for CPC credentials. Candidates must demonstrate competence in specific areas of pension and related employee benefits consulting through completion of the CPC examination series offered by ASPPA.
