ASPPA announces the return of the 401(k) Sales Summit on February 22 - 24, 2004 at the Orlando World Center Marriott in Orlando, Florida. With an even stronger sales focus to drive sales and personal productivity, the conference offers a new Sales Practice Management track and an interactive mock sales presentation competition. The conference is designed for retirement plan and investment professionals who actively sell, market, support, or influence the sale of 401(k) plans. "For all the retirement professionals looking to invest in that one sales-oriented conference next year, the Summit is a good choice," said conference co-chair, Christine Chaia. "It's one-stop shopping for those looking from some serious education, new sales ideas, the opportunity to earn CE credits, and motivational speakers all wrapped into one conference." All retirement plan professionals are encouraged to attend including registered representatives, financial planners, registered investment advisors, producing TPAs, Broker-Dealer firms, wholesalers, marketing and product professionals, consultants and accountants. This is a unique opportunity to learn how to sell more effectively, maximize your personal impact, hear from popular motivational speakers, network, and gain knowledge about the industry's leading vendors. According to Mark Davis, conference co-chair, "The agenda is being constructed to appeal to both the investment consultant and to retirement sales professionals. Topics will be relevant and are geared towards what matters most to those in our profession." Interactive workshops are organized into Practice Management, Plan Design and Compliance, Investments, and Participant Services tracks. The new Sales Practice Management section includes a panel of peers, best practices, and even more interactivity. To help ensure attendees maximize their time and investment in the conference, a variety of insurance continuing education classes and vendor sales and marketing sessions are returning once again in 2004. The conference also offers 15 hours of ASPPA CE credit. For more information on the 2004 ASPPA 401(k) Sales Summit, contact the ASPPA Meetings Department at 703.516.9300 or visit our Web site.
