What's the Topic?IRS has recently issued proposed regulations on measuring assets and liabilities for purposes of the minimum funding requirements of Section 430 of the Code. The regulations give proposed guidance on the determination of the Funding Target and Funding Target Normal Cost for 2008 and later, as well as the options for determining the actuarial value of assets.
