Advanced Actuarial Conference

The Advanced Actuarial Conference is NEW in 2006! This conference is designed especially for actuaries who hold a senior position within their company. This conference is solely focused on pension actuaries and their unique and specialized issues. Roundtable leaders are experts in their fields - drawn from the actuarial, legal and accounting professions. The conference is comprised of roundtable discussions that will allow participants to engage their peers in discussion.

*To qualify for the early registration fee, registration and payment must be received in the ASPPA office by May 5. The fee is calculated based on the receipt date of the registration form, not the postmark on the envelope.

**To qualify for the additional participant registration fee, all registration forms must be submitted together with payment by the early registration deadline.

Continuing Education

ASPPA Members:
15 credit hours

Accountants:
ASPPA is registered with the National Association of State Boards of Accountancy (NASBA) as a sponsor of continuing professional education on the National Registry of CPE Sponsors. State boards of accountancy have final authority on the acceptance of individual courses for CPE credit. For more information regarding administrative policies such as complaint and refund, please contact ASPPA at 703.516.9300.

Enrolled Actuaries:
This conference is designed to offer Enrolled Actuaries core and non-core JBEA credit hours. For purposes of Joint Board continuing education credit, we have indicated after each session description our judgment as to the type of credit, if any, that the Joint Board is likely to grant. The final decision as to applicable credit rests solely with the Joint Board for the Enrollment of Actuaries. NOTE: If you require a particular type of CE credit, please call the ASPPA office to request a Continuing Education Checklist. ASPPA is willing to apply for CE credit if the application process and fee are not prohibitive.

This conference is approved for up to 10.25 units of professional education credit with the Society of Actuaries.
