Pension Education and Research Foundation

The Pension Education and Research Foundation (PERF) fosters excellence in pension education and promotes scholarly research on retirement planning and pensions. Endowments are provided by PERF to educational institutions for scholarship grants to qualifying students. PERF also sponsors the development of educational texts and support materials.

The Foundation currently sponsors two special awards:

The Martin Rosenberg Academic Achievement Award
Established in 1990, the award is presented in honor of the late Martin Rosenberg, MSPA, recognizing the top performing candidates in ASPPA credentials examinations.

ASPPA Presidential Scholarship
Each year since 1999, ASPPA’s president selects a university or college to receive a one-time award of $2,000. The scholarship is presented to a deserving junior year student.

The Pension Education and Research Foundation was chartered in 1976 as a non-profit, charitable foundation under Internal Revenue Code Section 501[c](3).
