Much attention has been focused on the new electronic filing system, EFAST2 and the revisions to fee reporting on Schedule C. Now it's time to look at the forms and other schedules to be used for 2009 reporting years.
Items to be discussed include:
• Changes to the Form 5500 and Schedules A, H, I and R;
• Form 5500-SF and which plans qualify for this limited reporting format;
• IRS only forms, including Form 5500-EZ and Form u955-SSA as well as Form 5558;
• Issues with 403(b) filings;
• Additional disclosures for multi-employer plans;
• Short plan year filings for 2010;
• Overview of virtual public disclosure room;
• Late and amended filings for pre-2009 plan years; and
• Tips for data collection.
