APAPA
Exclusively for TPA Firms
APAPA is a unique membership division of ASPPA exclusively for TPA firms. The purpose of APAPA is to provide an organizational structure through which member firms can share common concerns and become more politically active in preserving the private pension system. APAPA members will benefit from recognition and networking, policy input and special educational opportunities. APAPA will be mentored by Craig P. Hoffman, ASPPA’s General Counsel and Director of Regulatory Affairs.

"There are three basic reasons why I belong to APAPA. First, it puts me at the forefront of what is happening in our industry, from both a political and technical perspective. Second, it promotes the opportunity to share opinions, which ultimately could influence legislative policy and decisions. Third, it provides an excellent means for networking."

"I believe joining APAPA is a great way for TPA business owners to network with other business owners since we all face the same day-to-day issues. It allows us to be on the forefront of any new laws affecting our industry and gives us the ability to voice our opinions and concerns."

"I am pleased to be a member of APAPA, as it is an active organization specifically working for TPA owners, as opposed to the general population of ASPPA which includes all the other disciplines. I have been receiving important notices regarding the DOL and IRS as soon as released, and certainly before receiving communication via the general ASPPA channels. I also appreciate the closer working relationship with Craig Hoffman and Brian Graff that has resulted from being involved with APAPA."
Michael W. Freedman, C.P.C.

"I belong to APAPA because I think an organization dedicated to the concerns of the independent small business retirement plan TPA/Actuarial/Consulting firm is important. We need a voice for each other, in ASPPA and in Washington. APAPA can fulfill such a mission."

"When Jim Kidder and I founded our firm in 1996, we were already strong supporters of ASPPA. Today, we have 14 professionals with ASPPA designations and a mandatory continuing education program using ASPPA’s training and materials. So when ASPPA created APAPA to further support the needs and goals of the TPA owner, I jumped at the opportunity to be a founding member. We’re true ASPPA believers and proud of it."
