Committee Volunteer
Volunteering is a great opportunity for networking. It can also be a pathway to ASPPA leadership positions. ASPPA members are invited to serve on committees focused on various aspects of the retirement plan profession and related public policy. Included among more than a dozen volunteer committees are opportunities to raise public awareness on the issues and policies affecting retirement planning; congressional communication activities; local chapter liaison efforts; and many others.  Members interested in volunteering to serve on a committee should download the ASPPA Volunteer Position Application and submit to ASPPA at (703) 516-9308 (fax) or email asppa@asppa.org.

Subject Matter Expert (SME)
ASPPA members are also invited to volunteer as a Subject Matter Expert (SME). You will work with other dedicated pension professionals to educate the next generation of administrators, consultants and actuaries. Being a SME in a national association with over 6,500 members can give you a strong marketing edge. SMEs receive ASPPA CE credit each year for their work on the committee.  For more information, click here.
