Labor Secretary Confirmation Hearing Now Set for Feb. 16

The Senate Health Education, Labor and Pensions Committee’s (HELP) confirmation hearing for Andrew Puzder, President Trump’s nominee for Secretary of Labor, has been rescheduled.

The hearing will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Feb. 16, and will be live-steamed here. This is the fourth date set for the hearing, which was originally scheduled to take place on Jan. 17.

The continued delay likely will, in turn, further delay clarity on what may happen with the Department of Labor’s fiduciary regulation.
