Navigate the Complexities of Using Social Media

There are things you should do — and not do — in using social media. And it’s especially complicated for those in the retirement plan industry, since social media communications must comply with the rules promulgated by regulatory bodies and others.

Join us for an upcoming webcast, “Realities of Social Media in a Regulated Industry,” on Thursday, May 15 from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m. EDT. The webcast is complimentary for NTSA members; for ASPPA and ACOPA members, attendance costs $110 for an individual member and $40 for additional viewers. Attendance by individuals who are not ASPPA, ACOPA or NTSA members is $180, and $65 per additional non-member viewer.

You’ll gain valuable insights into what you can and can’t do under applicable laws and regulations, and learn social media best practices as well as facts and trends concerning the use of social media in our industry.

You’ll also earn 1.2 ASPPA CE credits and 1 enrolled retirement plan agent CE credit.

The speakers will be Richard Ford, Chief Marketing Officer, PlanMember Services; Jon Hall, Web Marketing & Development Specialist, PlanMember Services; and Aaron Giannini, Compliance Analyst, PlanMember Services.
