DOL Advisory Council, JBEA Advisory Committee Nominations

The Department of Labor announced Aug. 2 that they are soliciting nominations for vacancies on the ERISA Advisory Council on Employee Welfare and Pension Benefit Plans. Nominations are due by Sept. 17, 2018. Click here for details.

Additionally, the Joint Board for the Enrollment of Actuaries is getting ready to issue a solicitation for new members to the Joint Board Advisory Committee (which consists of private sector enrolled actuaries). The Joint Board expects to issue an official notice in the Federal Register in September and make selections by the end of 2018, with official terms to start in March 2019. We’ll report on the official announcement when it is released, but in the meantime please think about whether you might be interested in serving on the Advisory Committee of the Joint Board.
