- Education and Credentialing Programs
You can bolster your knowledge, credibility and recognition within the retirement plan industry by earning the Member, Society of Pension Actuaries (MSPA) or Fellow, Society of Pension Actuaries (FSPA) credentials. The MSPA program was created for Enrolled Actuaries in good standing who provide defined-benefit or actuarial consulting services. The FSPA program was designed for MSPAs who wish to enhance their qualified plan analytical and consulting skills.

The National Tax-Sheltered Accounts Association (NTSAA) is a professional division of ASPPA for those who specialize in the 403(b) and 457 marketplaces. If you are currently engaged in the 403(b)/457 industry or would like to expand your market into this lucrative space, you may join NTSAA for a onetime $50 fee, provided you are already a current ASPPA member.
