PERF
The ASPPA Pension Education and Research Foundation, Inc. (ASPPA PERF) was chartered in the District of Columbia in 1976 as a nonprofit charitable foundation under Internal Revenue Code §501(c)(3). The purpose of ASPPA PERF is to foster excellence in pension education and to promote scholarly research in the pension field. To accomplish these aims, ASPPA PERF provides endowments to educational institutions for the granting of scholarships to qualified students majoring in Actuarial Science who are seeking assistance with tuition and expenses. It also sponsors the development of educational materials and texts as well as research by making grants of funds for approved projects.

Martin Rosenberg Academic Achievement Award
The Martin Rosenberg Academic Achievement Award recognizes the top performing candidates on credential examinations (including PFC-2, TGPC-2, DC-1, DC-2, DC-3, DB, CPC and A-4 examinations). The award was established in 1990 in honor of the late Martin Rosenberg, MSPA.
ASPPA Presidential Scholarship
Each year since 1999, ASPPA’s President selects a university or college to receive a one-time award of $2,000. The scholarship is presented to a deserving junior year student.

Ed Burrows Memorial Fund
Contributions to ASPPA PERF may also be made in honor of the late Ed Burrows. Contributions to the Ed Burrows Memorial Fund are restricted for the purpose of sponsoring or co-sponsoring events that examine focused topics concerning National Retirement Income Security. Please make checks payable to "ASPPA PERF" and note "Ed Burrows" in the memo section to direct contributions to the Ed Burrows Memorial Fund.
