Retirement plan professionals often find themselves in the middle of the competing financial interests of plan sponsors and participants, and determining right from wrong is not always an easy task. Personal and professional relationships and good intentions can make it difficult to choose the right path in difficult situations. This webcast will review the ethical standards established by the IRS and ARA/ASPPA and present real-life examples to highlight good ethical decision making.

About the Speaker:

David Schultz is a Product Manager, Educator, and Attorney with FIS Relius in Atlanta, GA. He joined Relius in 2015 with 20 years of experience in the retirement plan industry, including service as an ERISA attorney, owner of a TPA and recordkeeper, an investment adviser focused on qualified plans, and fiduciary consultant. David is the past Chair for the Administrative Relations Subcommittee and 401(k) Subcommittee of ASPPA’s Government Affairs Committee.
