Description:
The retirement readiness crisis that is impacting our country is a product of many different economic and social drivers. One major driver that is rarely discussed, or understood, is the impact that the growing Sandwich Generation has on the equation. The "Sandwich Generation" refers to people who are stuck in the middle taking care of both their children and their elderly parents. This care causes financial, physical, and emotional strain on its members. With the aging 'boomers' out-numbering the potential caregivers, the impact is being felt by individuals, employers, and across the retirement service provider community. How can we help turn this ship around for ourselves, our clients, and the participants?

Key Takeaways:
1. Get a definition of the “Sandwich Generation” and discover its impact on the economy.
2. Find out why this is a pension problem.
3. Realize that there are creative solutions possible.
