ACOPA Leadership

 ACOPA President  William Karbon, MSPA, CPC, QPA

Bill is an executive vice president and director of compliance with CBIZ Retirement Plan Services in Lawrenceville, NJ.  He is an Enrolled Actuary and Certified Pension Consultant and holds a B.A. degree in economics from Rutgers University.  Additionally, he is a Member of the American Academy of Actuaries, American Society of Pension Professionals and Actuaries (ASPPA) and the ASPPA College of Pension Actuaries (ACOPA).   

Bill, who has over 30 years of experience in the retirement field, is the current President of ACOPA and has also co-chaired the ACOPA Advanced Actuarial Conference Committee, ASPPA Annual Conference Committee and the ASPPA Professional Conduct Committee.  He has been a featured speaker for many professional organizations, authored the Pension Roundup on, technically reviewed books on 401(k) plans and has been an instructor for advanced consulting classes sponsored by ASPPA.  Bill is the recipient of ASPPA’s 2013 Educator’s Award which recognizes outstanding educators from the ASPPA membership who have made significant contributions to retirement plan education.
